Nailed it!
Matching EDS obverse and reverse. Strong strike. Minimal clashing and die polishing. Higher collectible grade. Clean fields.
Obverse: strong detail around the eye, nostril, chin and lips, second feather (full rachis and calamus), feather tie, date, and ribbons. For a 1913-15 Buff, LIBERTY is unusually strong. Solid AU-53 obverse.
Reverse: Strong peripheral lettering, full and clear horn, full split tail, over half of the hair on the head and well over 2/3 of the hair on the back, strong eye and beard, decent detail on the front legs and strong detail on the rear legs. Solid AU-50 reverse.
Eye appeal 0.5 bump for strike quality and lack of bagginess. Net grade: AU-53.
Again, this is
exactly what you should be hunting for. Well struck matching EDS die state Buffs with minimal clashing and die polishing in EF and higher grades are as scarce as PL/DMPL Morgans, and are in high demand.
Would you be willing to post a high resolution photo of the date, including the area immediately above the "4" and between the "4" and first ribbon?
