Seems to be a Kashmir sultanate coin..I'm no expert on this coinage but have started to collect the Sultans of Kashmir coins to link in with a Hindu Kashmir set I've been collecting for a few years so I do recognise this coin. Looking at the Obverse, your 2nd photo, the horizontal line with a circular knot seperates the above legend which reads 'Al-sultan al-a'zam' (Supreme Sultan)...Below the band is the Sultans name of which the OP coin is completely worn away...Luckily only 1 Sultan had this simplified circular knot... Sultan Hassan Shah (1472-1484 A.D.)......Here's a coin of mine as an example...Hope it helps Paul
