All the areas you are looking at is showing Machine Doubling. (very common to find) These are caused by the machine. On a doubled die, the devices will be enlarged, because the doubling is on the die and not created by the machine. Note the notching and spread in the centers of these devices: The DDO's after 1973-S are almost impossible to find: http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htm On this site, the listing are in blue color. The non found years for DDO are in black color. Note how they are no longer found on most years after 1973? Just a few. 1989-P is the only year with one die listed. So dimes are pretty much duds. Look at the DDR and you will see on the new listing a few. But you will not spot them, unless to know where to look for them: http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htm So the more you read, the more time you will save looking in the wrong places to find Machine Doubling, because double dies changed on the newer coinage.
I have that 83-p dime , and some others think 2000-p is going to be one of the biggest years for them , but this is the first 2007 I've seen , and looking for them online have not seen much. trying to help someone form thinking it's something it's not. happy hunting
