All,

Came into a bunch of Walking Liberty half dollars (a little over 300) upon a quick review I noticed a 1936 S that had Miss Liberty colored in gold. Why would someone do that, is there a purpose?

Many junk after-market sellers like Littleton sell golden-plated coins, though this POC doesn't seem like one of theirs.
