I have found none with H out of 2000+ listed in the spreadsheet accessed through this link: http://www.romancoin.info/ Any significance to that? Siscia mint? Report this Post to the Staff

It looks quite similar to this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/...-_252799.jpg The H or M (or whatever it is) is some kind of mint mark I think - engraver's sign, mint series... I suspect it stands for "maiorina", letting the public know that the new smaller coins were to be valued the same as the larger coins they replaced. Report this Post to the Staff
