I graded this dollar a 50 when I got it, but now that I'm learning from all your comments, I'm wondering if this coin has been cleaned. The dirt inside some of the lettering, especially on the reverse ..... is that evidence of cleaning?

So what do you think?

AVG- on this 82(O) for strike. the coin does look like it was cleaned. I think the reverse holds it to XF45

XF 40 The coin may of had an old cleaning or dip and re-toned. It appear to be market acceptable. Look for hairlines under the toning if hairlines are there it would most likely details grade.
