I've been accumulating 1oz Platinum bars for the last month. When I saw today's big news I decided to buy more...but...my usual go to places were SOLD OUT! Found a few at Ampex for decent price and bought them. I think Platinum might finally break out of its long flat line. Unusual to find Platinum sold out at many of the online suppliers.

I like platinum in the long run, but the premiums are frustrating! The big dealers in Canada are around 10% over spot, and buy it for less than spot.
I'd imagine APMEX is a little better, but low premium Pt seems to be a unicorn.

When in stock provident metals usually has lowest premiums on Platinum...and most other bullion also. APMEX premiums a bit higher but they tend to have more in stock...just bought from them today since provident was out. High demand right now.

That is good. Hard to find anything in stock in 1 oz bars or coins. What little there is is priced at crazy high premiums. Even APMEX was sold out.
