I have bought other silver coins from both Ampex and David Lawrence rare coins (Virginia) and very happy with both companies. Any red flags with buying cert. gold double eagles from either seller? Thinking of MS 64 or better as the premium over AU does not seem too bad. any suggestions or guidance on this purchase? just looking to add some gold coins and preference is the historic coins v. bullion or modern mint issues. thanks all Report this Post to the Staff

Because of that, I prefer circulated coins that are somewhat rare over MS common dates. A circulated 1858-s is California history in your hand.
