1890-O VAM-20 Hit List Doubled Ear Cherrypick

Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4395 Posts	Posted 03/09/2020 10:25 pm Went through an album of silver dollars at a LCD yesterday and quickly spotted this doubled ear. I picked it up for $32. I didn't realize how good of a pick this one was until I got home and looked it up. VAM-20 is in the Hit List 40 and VAMWorld says it is "very scarce in vf/xf". And as an added bonus, it's well struck for a 1890-O! Auction records vary wildly but are consistently much more than $32, so I'm very happy with it. Even if it wasn't worth that much, it's a cool DDO and it would fit well in my collection (I have an interesting idea for a set and I would need this one for it). Thoughts? Opinions? How'd I do? Looks original as well, which is a plus since most of the varieties I find are cleaned beyond repair!
