Paolo, can you please post the diameter and weight? Depending on the answer, it seems like it might be a Tremissis of the Lombard Kingdom, but I confess that I am well out of my league with this one.

Interesting coin not one that I'm familiar with. It's does appear to be from the time on Lombard kingdom, might also be Merovingian.
