I know Ive been wrong about 99% of the time but I can clearly see it on this coin.

Two lights creates artificial shadows. Light and shadows are correct when you use only one light. Also too uch light makes areas show glare, hiding what you are probably wanting us to see. On Machine Doubling, the affected areas are flat, not contoured. A flat surface creates glare:

Use one light bulb and put a white filter on it.
