Just wanted to see if you guys think this 1973-P unc. Jefferson would qualify as a full step? Sorry about the pictures as I am taking them through the milar holder.

Nice coin but No, that nick in the 5th step between the third and fourth pillar stops it from being a Full Stepper!

I realize some collectors feel differently, but I don't mind nicks on the steps. Since the full step designation is a measure of the strike, IMO subsequent dings don't change how well (or how poorly) the mint struck the coin.

well the way they have been grading lately lol it could be a FS sorry to much (you tube) on that front.

Definitely a keeper. The TPGs might give you FS, it's certainly close. Question would be some day you want to sell it, the buyer might not agree.

Based on many comparisons of this very subject (full steps), technically speaking, they would not give the 5FS designation. But I am thinking the TPG's will give this a 5FS designation. Seen worse with that designation. Flaw too minor IMO. But, still 50/50 it will get it.
