1981 - P Nickel W/ Strange Mint Mark

Inquiring on a 1981- P nickel. Topic was brought up in a forum (10 years ago)...however, no images were posted and thus no definitive answer.

Did my best to capture the MM (Roughly 8-10x, but also visible to naked eye)...the Stem (body) of the "P" appears thicker (blob) and seems to extend the entire vertical length of the letter..this displaces the "Counter" (hole in the P) toward the right edge of the Bowl (curved line).

those early era P mint marks were smaller than those used today, maybe that's why it looks strange
