Hello anyone can let me know if this Ruble is a real Gold coin or not?
1891 Russian 5 Rubles Alexander III
On the side of it says that it is made of Pure Gold.
However, the weight of it is 6.18 grams and it should be 6.45 grams according to this web site.
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces17819.html
If it is real I would like to know the value of it.
Thank you

If it has any gold in it,
the value of it is the AGW value, less assay and refining costs.

Can you independently verify to a future buyer where it came from?

@RUS, you can compare to a certified example like this one: https://www.coinarchives.com/w/lotv...199056fe6ccb

You might be able to see some differences.

These were never struck in pure gold. Everything is essentially wrong about it... the edge is the worst.
