Hmm, I'm at AU-58 . That sucker has been around awhile with those obverse cuts to the face .

Kind of tough to tell from the pics, but if those are rubs over the eye and high on the cheek (among others) then I'll go AU55/58. Otherwise, I'd be in the MS62 camp.

Like today, many nickels of that era also left the mint with a few big hits. Nice coin, average strike for the date, MS63.

Big gouge, steps gone, AU-50-55. SMS were 1965-1967.
