I was done by lunch so I spent the rest of the day checking out the parks and schools. I hit 4 parks and 2 schools. Turned out to be a pretty good day. Almost $17.00 and a 14k white gold ring. The ring has 10 diamonds and I think a jade stone.

Hmmm...white gold, possibly Jadeite in the center, or emerald? You would need that tested--any jeweler worth his salt should tell right away. Sometimes emeralds will glow dull red under UV light--a test you can do at home. I suspect the smaller stones are diamonds with a coating of grime--easy to test. Nice find!

I think your right Kurt. Jadeite matches pretty good from what I have read. I'll take it in next week and see for sure. I can see carbon specks in the diamonds so I am pretty sure they are real. Just need to be cleaned up a bit.

Finding gold does make it a great day TreasHunt. That's why I am out there looking. All the clad is nice but the gold is what I like to find. Just don't find enough of it. I agree nuggethill nothing like the feeling of popping up gold no matter what shape or form it's in.

Chris the main places I look are the schools and the parks. I sometimes check out some old trailer parks in the area that have been shut down. I find more copper piping and wire than anything else. It goes in the barrel with the other copper I have. And where ever else the opportunity may arise.

Nice finds I always like to find gold but Clad is what adds up the most over time. A great afternoons hunt.

Good to see you back Richard. The clad definitely adds up. That's what keeps me in the game till I find the gold and silver. I went to 3 schools this morning and found right at $7.00 and a silver bracelet I guess. 10 grams of sterling.
