Everything I've seen on the forums here has suggested they aren't generally considered valuable errors, so is there some reason why they're selling for upwards of 75 dollars for (especially) dimes with feeder finger errors? Are these coins worth holding onto for my collection (ie. is the market sustainable?) or should I dump them on ebay while I can still make a buck off them?

Are they selling for that much or are they just listed for that much?

Feeder finger gouges are very common especially on some newer coins. If they are selling for a premium now, I don't expect that value to be sustainable.

I don't know from nothin' on errors, but I see a range of $3 to $75 (with more than half at under $11), which strikes me as very odd.

Thanks conder. Would you say these errors deserve to carry any premium at all, or just not one as high as that? They seem to sell (actually sell, not just listed for) in a pretty wide range on ebay, with some going for about $5, and some as high as 75 and up, as tdziemia said.

Why not? You could sell or try to sell your garbage on ebay so why not that?

I could see a small premium for them probably ranging from a dollar as just an example to as much as $5 or so for an extreme specimen.
