I am a long time collector only recently getting serious about it. I am new to this forum so please be gentle. :) I found this while sorting through my pennies. Is it a double die? If so, What is the approx. value? Thanks

Hello ECHO1711,

From the pictures provided, this is not a doubled die and looks like Machine Doubling. The devices are thinner and the doubling is flat like in appearance.

Look for the spread. Note on 002 where the area is showing the spread. No where as strong as 001, but it is there.
