Great token...and great condition. Doesn't seem to have any luster with a subdued brass color, but I'll say high AU to MS in grade? Nice beard detail. OK is typically weak.

I find these very interesting as well. I have around 10 so far and plan on adding more. This token I believe is a R-4, 200-500 to exist, estimated.

IMHO, this is a respectable XF token. This variety was my first CWT purchase, sixty years ago. Upon realizing that Abe actually got to see his image on a then circulating "penny" token, I had to own it! It cost me $12.50 at the time, the equivalent of about ten hours of work at minimum wage. Although I've owned/traded a number of this variety over the years, I waited till last year to part with my first one!
