What are everyone's opinions on Asahi Silver Rounds. I doubt they would command the same premium as ASE or Maples but at what premium would they be a wise investment?

I haven't heard of Asahi rounds, but ASEs and Maples will always have a higher premium than rounds. There's more demand for government issued stuff than the generic rounds.

Opinions-On-Asahi-Silver-Rounds

These are the coins I was referring to. Maybe they are just new on the market?

I bought a roll. Personally I think they would still be a couple bucks over spot but who knows in this market.

Consider them generic silver rounds worth melt value. Don't let this spring's premiums influence your opinion. If trying to sell them in the future you will (likely) be offered melt value.

Those are pretty new, I have never seen one in person. I have a few Asahi bars and like them a lot. I also got a few of the Asahi made American Reserve rounds, which are quite attractive. In my opinion, Asahi (which bought Johnson Matthey) are premium generic. They are nicer and more desirable than most generics, and if you can get them for 50 cents-$1 max more than other generics, they are probably a good buy.
