I've been bidding on this 2000 LMC error and I had the high bid until yesterday. It just went above my high bid and I'm not sure I want to go higher. It's an impressive error and it's graded MS-66 Red by NGC. The auction ends on Wednesday the 15th.

I'm just looking for thoughts on value. What's it worth? What would YOU pay?

Let me know! THANKS!

Wow! That is one crazy awesome error. I can't help with how much I would pay, but if you can get it at a reasonable price I think you should pull the trigger.

Well it looks like a stuck through a deteriorating die cap and you can see the obverse die touching an area naked on the 'WE TRUST' So it is more than an off center strike. So it would be worth more than an off center strike. (That is what I see)

I think it is an incredibly remarkable error, and looks just great! I don't know how much I would bid, but I would do all I can to get it.

Awesome error coin! I wouldn't pay too much for it though.

It is a very cool looking error but all that Zinc on the reverse would scare me. In the wrong environment it can and will turn black very easily. I've always made it a point to stay away from this much zinc showing but that's just me

This is Broadstruck with about 90% Obverse Brockage. Graded examples usually get $100-$200 depending on the grade

I saw the "We TRUS" and then the other mushy obverse details and thought of the struck through a late stage die cap also.
But with lettering mirrored (backward) I'm wondering if this is a folded over counter brockage?

Were you just being cagey (you old dog) and saw what wasn't on the label but didn't want to let on?
And since you didn't give a price were you hoping we might offer $ amounts of how much we might be willing bid?
Since it is already slabbed by NGC this might already be above $75. If that's the case I would definitely be out. I wouldn't be too surprised to see this one hit $100.

I like finding major errors but can't seem to pay what others will pay to own them.

You have a pretty nice collection looking at the personalized area of your page.

Best of luck whatever you decide.
