If I were to use a coin cleaner like for chrome if you will shouldn't all this come off and then be shiny again. If so and if I were to do that and nothing happened it stayed the same would that mean anything or whatever the environmental issue that caused it also caused it to stay this was permanently and not (cleanable) persay if that makes sense? Also could it be missing the clad layer? And due to me not knowing anything and learning how can one tell if something is missing a clad layer versus environmental damage?
