I am wondering if anyone has a collection of tokens and medals issued by the large numismatic publishers; Krause Publications and Coin World. Over the years I have rounded up about 40 medals from KP in silver and bronze plus a large number of tokens and other souvenirs. I am not alone am I?

Here's a Numismatic News promotional set to mark its 30th anniversary in 1982. The set includes a collection of Lincoln Cents 1952 through 1982 along with an aluminum token that was good for a $2.00 discount on a subscription and a copper-nickel proof Collector medal; the token and medal were each struck by The Franklin Mint. (Note: I took the proof medal out of the folder to protect its finish - that's why it is missing from its 'hole' in the second image.)

The entire collection (token, medal and 31 Lincoln cents) is housed in a custom-printed blue folder created by Whitman. Very apropos considering how many thousands of Lincoln Cent collections were started in blue Whitman folders!

The set is frequently available for a very reasonable on ebay.

The proof CuNi medal has the same obverse as the token, but has its own reverse design:

Nice commems. Specially like how you took the C-N medal out and put it in a plastic capsule. I haven't touched mine and there is no tarnish that can be seen, yet.

A few aluminum giveaway medals, two from 1991 marking the ANA's centennial and one from 1983 that commemorates the ANA Convention in San Diego and Coin World's 23rd anniversary.
