I have this 1957D & 1942P pennies and wanted an opinion on if these are worth 2X2 or just roll them with the others?

I'd say both of them would grade about AU condition. I would definitely put them in a 2x2.

Agree - both are AU-58 or so. Spotting on the '57-D leaves this common date in a 3 cent bullion value category.

The 42 isn't much better,the big spot on the temple. I value them at 2 1/2¢ each.

The 42 is a nice AU . The 57-D is a little shabby . I would put the 42 in a 2x2 and the 57 in a tube .

Sure, a 2x2 doesn't cost much... And if there is a hole in your collection at 42 and/or 57D, all the better!
