Hi Colleen,

I have been following your discoveries, and I have been amazed at the quantities and number of different varieties you are finding. What are you using for your source. I imagine you setting there with bags marked "Lincoln Varieties" surrounding you

Excellent finds!

believe it or not I work full time so I only get to do this stuff for a few hours at night and I get pennies from the bank and I buy 5000 lots of wheats off ebay go through them and sell the rest back on ebay and I get most of my money back that I spent on them.and I let people know that they are ones I have bought on ebay.people seem to want to hoard them common or not because of copper price and that there changing the penny soon. but they are getting harder to get on ebay for a far price. opps I probably told you to much .

the people on here are great and very helpful to new people like me. I have been doing this for about 6 months know and really enjoy it .

thanks

No problems from me . I have ended my Bag searching era. I still will search any coffee can or butter cookie tin at a yard sale, but that is it. New ones I will buy or trade for rather than get a headache. You are doing amazingly. Treat your eyes well! Best of Luck.

You're finding some great coins--what fun!
Since the 54-S is so distinctive, I looked it up: 1954S-1MM-004 S/S North

1938D-1MM-001 - A nice west spread, and a comparatively less common RPM than some others for the year. A nice find.

1954S-1MM-004 - Available in bulk quantities until a couple of years ago, this one has many different stage markers which proves it lasted a long time in the press for a full die life. These are generally much more desirable in BU, however even an upper-end circulated example is still worth a couple of bucks.

1956D-1MM-001 - One of the strongest RPMs in the Lincoln Cent series, this one is generally one of the first RPMs noticed and pulled out of rolls and bags by non-variety collectors. Given that, there is a high percentage of survivability for this die, and a lot of them on the market. Even with that, a BU example will bring $10+, while a higher end circulated example will bring $2-$5.
