Pulled this guy from a roll yesterday. This is a difficult coin to find in BU. Quite happy with this coin-fairly clean, looks to be at least a 64. I have matched this to FS-103 with that die crack on the T of STATES. This was the only one in the roll. Thanks for taking a look! Stay safe, stay healthy! On the tops of the date it shows the common 1968-1972 Machine Doubling. But still a nice find. Seems like this year was the only one I can think if with that type of doubling. Why? I don't know. A miss alignment of the hub I guess. Well I just looked on coppercoins and it is a Class 8 doubled die. http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=mds An issue with a tilted hub or die. Not a real common error, but quite a few this year. When posting this, I wondered why? Now we know.

Thanks you guys! Coop, the Machine Doubling is why I added the arrows. I Didn't want any confusion about what was doubled on this one. Thanks again! -CH27

This is a great DDO. There recently was a roll of 1970-S for sale on ebay that went for something like $16 shipped. Kinda high price for a roll of that date, but I was happy to pay it as the end coin visible in the photo was FS-103 and there were a couple more in there as well after it arrived and I opened it up. Great coin and a superb find, congrats!
