I don't want to be the bearer of the bad news, but neither one of those SBA's look near dated. Can you post a close up of your coins like below?

Quote:
One major variety of the 1979 P Susan B. Anthony ( SBA) Dollar features a wide rim on the obverse of the coin. The 11-sided rim is slightly thicker which results in less spacing between the 1979 date and the rim. This is sometimes known as the "near date" variety as the date is closer to the rim. The difference between the 1979 narrow rim vs wide rim (far date vs near date) Susan B Anthony dollar varieties is depicted below in the example comparison image

Well that was the normal design that year. The close date on the Philly dollars are the year variety. (Also called die rim)

The far date are the normal ones. On the 1980 forward, they are the wide rims. But on 1979 the normal was the narrow rim, far dates from all three mints.
