coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/23/2020 8:35 pm Well that was the normal design that year. The close date on the Philly dollars are the year variety. (Also called die rim) The far date are the normal ones. On the 1980 forward, they are the wide rims. But on 1979 the normal was the narrow rim, far dates from all three mints.
