There are a remarkable number of Retained Cuds on 1943 cents, and the S coins probably have more obverse examples than any other Lincoln Cent. This is one I found this evening, part of a group of 40 different Retained Cuds I pulled in the last few days going through 1943-P and S bags.

That is one sweet Pre/Retained Cud. I too enjoy finding them on 1943 Steel Cents. Some of them are incredible. Congratulations on 40+, wow!

Nice one.

Those die flow lines between the date and TRUST along the rim are pretty gnarly. A great example of how they can show up on an older die.

Very nice! 1943 is the coin to go to for Cuds as far as I'm concerned.
