Found a rather nice 1993 D cent with this raised and discolored halo around Lincoln's head. Anyone able to shed more light on what this is? It starts back of head, wraps around entire head, stops at chin

@savage, that halo looks like the copper plating has split and the underlying zinc core is showing. The affected plating might be slightly curled up and that is why it is raised.
