Hello.

New to the Coin Community although I have been collecting on and off for several decades.

I acquired this 1878 CC Seated Liberty quarter graded G-4 for $17.

I collect American type coins between VG and VF and have always believed this one is actually closer to VG-10.

Thoughts?

The rim damage notable on the obverse at about 7:00 might have kept others from picking it up or depressed the sales price. I love the reverse for the grade. The obverse has some porosity. @ $17 I think you did well enough.
