The first picture of statue is from coin I post yesterday. I didn't take picture of obverse and reverse for second coin. Overall the second one it's same if not better condition.

If they are air bubbles, a toothpick could depress them.

They're not air bubbles I tried to check them with toothpick. They're like die cracks/chips. Two different coins with identical issues. Same year and mint.

Then it maybe die damage. Note how they taper? Widest next to the columns and narrow on the bottoms of the bay. So the die received some damage to that area.
