1919? Lincoln Wheat Cent Damaged - Odd Unfortunate Coin

Something that fell out of a roll recently.

Coin seems to just be damaged, but must be some story here. From the looks of it I'd say it was a parking lot coin (or equivalent) that was then circulated around for long enough to wear down the damage into what you see.

But what isn't so obvious is that it weighs just 2.49g and it has a diameter between that of a cent and a dime (my micrometer is not handy right now). So seems like acid could have been involved as well.

Just a fun one to think about what this poor thing has been subjected to in the last 101 years.

I was with you on the parking lot coin until you mentioned it's weight and diameter. With the rim looking pretty intact it is a curiosity to say the least.
