Hello everybody!
I'm Alberto and I'm writing from Italy.

I have an old coin with arabic words for almost 20 years and I would like to know more about it. I attached it's pictures and I'm curious to read what do you think about it.

Thanks a lot!
Alberto

it is an ottoman coin ,on the reverse it is written in arabic "struck in constantinople" in 1223 in islamic calendar which correspond to 1832-1833 in gregorian calendar
the number 28 corresponds to the year of reign of the sultan in place.
On the reverse there is what is called the tughra , it is the seal of the sultan , each sultan has his own seal ,this one probably is the sultan mahmud 2 seal
you should give us the weight and diameter so we can help you find the proper denomination of the coin.

This coin is a fit for the dimensions, but the design is not quite right (no flowers in the field, etc)

Thank you very much!
Now that I know what kind of coin it is, I think that one day or another I'm going to buy a better preserved one!

Bye,
Alberto
