I purchased the subject coin (and the other 4 coins in the series) a few years ago from an ebay seller in Spain. The coin indicates that it is from Zambia, 5000 Kwacha, 1 ounce, .999 silver.

After I purchased it, I was told that it might be silver plated, and not pure silver.

Does anyone know the composition of the coin? I do not have a weight scale. Here is a photo of the coin:

Best I can tell, it should be silver.

Check that it is medal alignment. Then you need to weigh it.

If you don't have a scale, you can use a ruler and fulcrum and an Ike dollar.

According to my sources this is made soleley of Ag .999/1000
