desertgem Pillar of the Community United States 860 Posts	Posted 11/05/2008 12:26 am Hi Colleen, I think the effect you see there is called "Longacre doubling" by the way , check this reference on doubling. http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/...Doubling.htm On the 1888 check to see if there is a projection from the neck bead, and a die crack on the back.
