I am wondering if this S mintmark could be upside down on this 1946 S penny? It also looks like it was struck tilted?

It is the ball serif mintmark that has the inverted 'S' mintmarks:

I wonder: Is there only one known die where the mint mark was struck inverted or were there multiple? I know that mint marks were hand punched into the dies until 1990, when they were included in the master die designs for the year.
