Bold strike . Real nice IHC. A couple of tiny issues Do not detract . Rather long but light scratch under CENT . Face and neck looks a little rough but I don't think it will reflect grade . MS-66BN .

Please give us some indication of the true color - these pics cannot be accurate. Given the reverse, I lean toward 64 but am unsure of color designation.

If you take the time to look carefully, you will find a few tiny dings on both sides. (more on the obverse)
Thanks for the excellent pictures, fantastic coin, with a fantastic luster / patina.
This is a lucky coin to have survived as well as it has, for as long as it has.

MS-64.

I think that's from a die clash.
Looks like it came from the headband.

What looks like a scratch is the die clash of the head band. The coin looks MS-64 but not sure if the color is original. There should be some toning on the edge of the rim from handling over the years.
Rest in Peace

MS-65, but unsure about color. If it's been dipped, then sadly MS details. Can you provide some photos in natural light?

nicely struck and everything looks good but I'm in the boat with everyone. not sure about color on this one. I don't think it was cleaned so I'm at MS65 with a good shot at 66 if everything checks out

I don't think it is a scratch. I think it is part of a die clash. MS-65 not sure of color though

T-Bop, I am talking about the line under Cent, it's part of the die clash and not a scratch.

Unless I'm loosing it royally , The only headband on an IHC is on the obverse on top of Indians head that reads LIBERTY !
My question was for on the Reverse , is that a scratch under the word CENT ?

A clash occurs when an obverse die inadvertently strikes the reverse die and elements of the obverse design are transferred to the reverse die and thus to the reverse of the coin and vice-versa.

65 RB IMO but I'm also unsure if the colour is original, if it is it's a beauty!
