I just found an 1981 Lincoln Penny with no Mark and an inverted 180 degree Memorial but cannot find anywhere or place to go to see if it is worth anything. Is there a reputed site you all use?
All US coins have the reverses, rotated 180 degrees. The coins missing the mint mark are assumed from Philadelphia. So your coin in a normal, coin from Philadelphia.
The alignment like Canada uses is called' Medal alignment' if you drilled a hole in the top of the obverse of a Canadian coin to add to a necklace, then both sides of the coin are able to be read. If you did this on a U.S. coin. The obverse would be normal, the reverse side would be upside down. Thus the term 'Medal alignment'. Like a medal, it could be easily read on each side of the coin.
