I would just like to say thank you to Tanman2001 for bringing this doubled die to my attention. To be honest I'm surprised I missed it, once I seen his post mentioning the 1975 1 cent I started looking through some circulated rolls and came across two of them, I plan to check my BU rolls later today as well and hopefully find a gem. and here is a link to the 1975 tanman2001 has on his site, http://crdievarieties.com/doku.php?id=canadaFirst coin, you will see the letters "Z" and "ET" in "BETH" are doubled, the "E" reminds me of the 1967 DDO with the same characteristics that leave me without a doubt that this is a genuine doubled die. Here is Coin 2, without the "T" included due to damage Finding and discovering modern Canadian doubled die varieties since 2018. 2023 Recent Publications: Modern Canadian Doubled Die Varieties - First Edition PDF & Paperback https://www.mcddv.ca (website currently down for maintenance as of 08/01/2024)

No problem at all Tanman2001, it was a good one to look for. You have a good eye for catching it!

Nice... I have a bunch of BU 1975 rolls to search through... I'll let you know if I find anything.

I have 2 so far after tanman mentioned the one he had discovered, not sure if he has acquired more by now but they are very hard to find in any grade. When you have a moment and are able to you should send me an email, I noticed you have been finding a few different doubled die examples and I'm curious if you would like to be included in a reference list that can be found in the back of my doubled die variety book I am publishing soon, I have a few CCF members included, I can give more details through email if interested.

Quote: not sure if he has acquired more by now Nope, just the one. I don't get many Canadian coins down here to look at. iirc mine was in a bag of Canadian coins I bought from an ebay seller I was following. The bag went for a less than face value so it was a deal I couldn't pass on, I don't normally get Canadian stuff. I'm surprised John that you only found the two. I didn't expect this one to be on the rarer side. I thought it was just one that went under the radar since the doubling is not all too strong.

I just busted through 20 BU 1975 rolls... not a single DDO. Still hunting for my first...
