Just going through some of my Morgan's and one of my favorites (natural toned coin) which grabbed my attention some years ago. I tried my best to capture the luster on this coin but my camera sometimes doesn't behave like it should. The macro sometimes does good and other times fails. Hope to hear particular thoughts and a possible grade. Appreciate all comments...Thanks!

How's the luster on this coin?

Hi Coinfrog, the luster is really nice and does have the cartwheel affect (both sides) Just couldn't capture the luster like I wanted to on this coin.
It's beautiful in hand.

Seems like a nice toned MS example. Few distracting marks. I'm at MS-64 for this coin.

I like the toning. I would guess MS63+ due to the distractions on the check.

Yes some more detail on that cheek area would help. I assumed it was some uneven toning but if the luster is broken that might hold it back.

Hard to tell if MS or high AU from these photos. Need more lighting on the surfaces.

Yes, there's a hit on the cheek area...sad to say!
If 63 or 64 that would be a decent grade.
Maybe worth grading?
Just don't know which TPG to send for an evaluation.
I honestly like ICG (great folks to work with) but I know
they're somewhat at the bottom tier of the TPG Food Chain!

I appreciate all of the comments (you guys are great!)

86(P) are normally fairly sharp. the breast is a little weak but I think the strike is about average for the year. I think the coin was dipped a while back and retoned but probably market acceptable. MS63+

Hi Rick
Real nice looking coin, toning is pretty even all around. Striking is above average, nice eye appeal. Bid plus , no major damage, and the field is clean. Get it graded and enjoy.
