An easy place to find the true value of your coins is to check the SOLD listings on ebay, not the for sale listings, SOLD listings. What someone actually paid for a coin is the best true indicator of value.
To address your particular Buffalo nickel, unfortunately 1936 dated in a fairly heavy worn condition aren't very valuable I'm afraid, but please check out ebay's sold listings as I mentioned. If you need to sell any of your coins, perhaps selling several at once might help?
