Feeder finger strikes on the finger itself are rare only seen in US and some other counties like Chile, I don't remember seeing a Canadian version, this 50 cents could be results of a well worn die.

second coin obverse. it makes nice appearance on the coin. I can not shoot a full image of the coin. I shake to much now. the only stand I have now is microscope mount. I have the steel coming. I will build a horizontal mount. once that is assembled. I will post full images

When things are magnified 100-200 times, it's real tough even trying to figure out what it is that you're looking at. I'm not a fan of anything above 10X, but do have some 20X microscope pics.

okiecoiner this is taken at 7.5 X this is what true 7.5X really looks like. I know there are people here. using those little digital microscopes. they go by the listed mag that is not true the mag . true mag over 50X. you can only look at germs or micro organism. any thing above even true 40X. can be to much. you really can not see anything. okiecoiner I have found some thing on a coin. I know what it is. I know its man made. my problem is the mint might not want this seen. I not really sure what to do. I know you know coins. a lot about there production. okiecoiner later when I can get a better picture I will show you some thing that will amaze you. only if you want to see it. its crazy some body could assemble something that small. the only way to explain it is to see the picture. okiecoiner PM me if you want to get in on this. I am really not sure what to do.

If you are talking about 7.5X being the TRUE magnification, you must do your calculation by figuring 2 to the 7.5 power or 256+ magnification. Those pics are more than 7.5X in the commonly accepted definition. I'm not into post 1920 coins at all, so I'll pass on the info that you are finding.

Too much tree and not enough forest... there is no context or contrast when looking at these kind of magnifications. I honestly have no idea what you are trying to show...
