I purchased this along with others in a page the previous owner marked it as "3 times struck obverse over stuck reverse and over struck on obverse". I desperately need some help with this one!

Maybe better pictures would help. I assume the vertical line running up from Britannia's foot is what he believed was evidence of an overstrike rotated. Are the lines behind George's head the obverse overstrike?
It would be interesting if there is a complicated overstrike going on here, but not hugely collectable in the UK. Machine errors are quite common and not much sought after. An altered or incorrect die would be much more interesting.

1822.
That's the first bust, which was discontinued in 1826.

Can the vertical line in this coin indicating a faulty coin blank instead of a machine error? I think the coin may have been in saltwater or under ground for a while. I'm unsure though.
