Dear Friends, Wanted to check if this 1927-S Buffalo nickel will be marked 2 Feather verity if submitted to NGC and also will it make VF grade? Please pass on your comments. Appreciate all your inputs! Thanks!

photos a little small. looks like weak strike both sides. cheek looks strong as well reverse lettering. hair is separated from face and it looks like good separation of the feather and hair. the foreleg look pretty rounded. I don't think you can just look at the horn on this one. I think its in the VF25/30 range using these photos. always look forward to fortcollins assessment to hone my grading on these

I see a trace of the third feather, so I don't think it would get that designation. I'd say VF-25. Surfaces look a little granular, but maybe that's just the photos.

Here are some better pictures. I do believe it is a 2 Feather as the PCGS examples marked as 2 Feathers did have some part of the feather but clearly missing the bottom line of the feather. Thanks for all your valuable inputs. I am loving this forum.

It doesn't look like a 2 feather variety to me . In my opinion it just makes VF-20 .
