I see a normal coin with Machine Doubling on the reverse of the coin. Die polishing is a marker. But the doubling needs to be there in order for the maker to mean anything. Looks like we've had this discussion before as I have an image that was created a while back Just checked and it is not the same coin after posting this image:

Note how the DDO is larger in certain areas. Each device is enlarged. It takes seeing them side by side to see if they match or not. Can you see the differences with the side by sides?

Here is another one posted with a side by side. The hub doubling enlarges the devices. The marker mean nothing with out the hub doubling. Why do markers look close to the same? Because the coins are all handled very similar. The polishing lines need to be an exact match, only after the hub doubling is there. The difference between the 1 as different in with as as a thumb and a big toe? Can you see that? All the other digits are showing spread on the centers of the devices on the DDO.
