Is This An Error? - Coin Community Forum

pyrbob Rest in Peace United States 1943 Posts	Posted 11/08/2008 12:46 pm Sorry but in my opinion it is not an error. It looks like one side of the coin was removed with a grinder. Apparently the coin was spinning and you can see the grinding marks going around the coin from edge to center. This is post mint damage. Report this Post to the Staff
