Need guidance regards the condition and value for this; it was stored since 1933 in an envelope with a note written in pencil which may have affected its appearance?

I'll say AU-58 but below-average eye appeal. Pretty chewed up.

Hello RhythmDude,
First you may want to change your title to
(1932-S) Washington quarter
This coin from an eye appeal point of reference, will keep it from MS. It has MS qualities as far as the overall striking but it looks dull and flat and circulated.
I would give it an overall AU evaluation.
Value? If it would grade in the AU Spectrum, it doesn't necessarily mean it will bring that value.
AU spectrum low to high grade $150-$250
Hope that helps!

AU-50 with problematic patina (hazy, perhaps too long inside a PVC slip?)
