Hi

It has some scratches from coming loose from its cellophane wrapper. This is my very first post so I am extremely nervous. What do you think?

It's hard to take pictures of proof coins. I'm not sure the folks on here will want to give you a grade with those pictures. It's always best to remove the coin from the flip when taking photos if you can.

Make sure that the coin in the next pictures is completely free of dust.
The reflection of a dust particle immediately under the particle will make the particle look bigger than it actually is, and may be confused with a tiny nick or scratch.

Can also be a problem with slabbed proof coins, where a dust particle can appear twice - once on the surface of the slab, and again as a reflection off the surface of the coin.

Most people do. It's best to edit photos before using the optimizer IMO as it can be difficult to use.

Not an expert by any means on proof coins but in my opinion this coin would be hard to get past PF-62 with all it's issues . And what the heck is that what looks like a gouge out of his face ? Same color as the fields .

Looks like Washington's cheek is missing? A strange coin. For now I'll say PF details, damaged.

Nice coin! I Love the early Washington proofs. They are stunners with cameos.

With the condition of this coin in it's present state I can only say it is now an impaired proof . A lot has happened to this coin since it came loose from it's cellophane wrapper .

The reverse looks nice but the obverse has some issues. Still, a nice proof!
