1983 Washington Quarter Spitting Eagle

jdsherod Valued Member United States 98 Posts	Posted 05/25/2020 1:00 pm I've been going through my uncirculated sets and found what I believe is the Spitting Eagle Washington quarter. The "Spitting Eagle" is just a fancy name used to try to sell coins. Here's a clash overlay of a Washington quarter. You may be able to find other areas of clash on your coin. (Edit: I looked back at your coin and I can see what looks like another clash on the obverse. I see a line pointing up from the bridge of Washington's nose made by the eagle's wing.)
