This one has me confused. I found similar die markers, but since it's a later die stage, they would be different right? I'm confused. Thanks again for taking a look.

Just looks like it took a slight ding to the U in TRUST. Don't think it's a doubled die.

Thanks for the input Sam, but I don't think I can agree. I'm still stumped.

Why do you disagree? WDDO-002 has a strongly doubled ear, which this doesn't have any sign of. Also, Wexler makes no mention of doubling on the motto for that entry.

Sorry, I worded myself wrong. I agree that the doubling on the ear isn't there. I was talking about the hit on the U in TRUST.

Okay, well I suggest paying the $5 to send it to wexler if you really think so. Personally, it looks like obvious circulation damage, since the bottom of the U has been flattened and is visibly closer to the field on the side where it has been widened than on the inside edge of the letter, but don't let me stop you from pursuing the coin if you think you have something.

I'm going to have to agree I'm afraid. The actual doubling wouldn't look like that. I can tell from just those photos that it's been squashed a bit.

Sorry

Note the doubled ear. Read the descriptions to see the hub doubling, then look on that area for a DDO.
